Announcement on COVID-19
WEM Automation is open for business and will continue to provide 24/7 support to our customers. Over the past several weeks we have been preparing for the global impact of the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). As everyone knows, the situation changes daily and we are working to proactively take steps to safeguard service to our customers while protecting our employees.
Like all of you, we are closely monitoring and following best practices issued by the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and other governmental authorities. We thought it was important to share with you some proactive measures we are taking to both prevent the spread of illness and protect the health and safety of our customers whose sites we visit.
• We are implementing remote work arrangements for the majority of our workforce that can perform their job function remotely
• We have limited travel across our organization by prohibiting non-essential visits, and asking our employees to self-identify personal travel to locations where COVID-19 is widespread and requiring self-quarantine upon their return
• Employees are required to self-quarantine in the event (1) their immediate family member is asked by his or her physician to self-quarantine due to suspected COVID-19 exposure, (2) they have spent time around someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or who they suspect has had or have COVID-19, (3) they begin exhibiting signs or symptoms of COVID-19
Fortunately, WEM Automation is equipped with the necessary technology and bandwidth to enable our company to function effectively with a remote based workforce and to continue to support customers around the globe that rely on us for their mission-critical operations.
